1. Create your parent account
- Tap “Parent sign in” at the top of the home page.
- Sign up with your email and a password, or continue with Google.
- Check your email and confirm your address if asked.
Only a parent or guardian creates the account. Children never sign up on their own.
✍️
2. Give your consent
- Open the Parent area.
- Read the short consent statement.
- Tap “I agree and give consent” to unlock your family's clubhouse.
🧒
3. Add your child
- Tap “Add a child profile”.
- Enter a first name or nickname and your child's age. Please don't use a full name.
- Choose an avatar. Only the nickname and avatar are ever shown to others.
🔐
4. Choose what your child can do
- Each child has their own switches in the Parent area.
- Sharing starts OFF. Turn it on if you'd like your child to share artwork, stories or favorite moments.
- You can also turn Ezra the book helper and the Treasure Feed on or off.
- You can change these at any time.
🏰
5. Open the clubhouse
- Tap “Open clubhouse” next to your child's name.
- Hand the device to your child. This is their space to explore.
🏅
6. Earn the twelve badges
- My Treasure Chest shows all twelve badges. They stay grey until earned.
- Pick an adventure, read the question and write an answer. There are no wrong answers.
- Tap “Claim my badge”. M.E.L.O.D.Y. the butterfly flutters in to celebrate!
- Adventure 12, Celebration, ends the journey with “Finish My Adventure”.
🧭
7. Ask Ezra
- Tap “Ask Ezra” to ask a question or share a thought about the book.
- Ezra gives gentle hints and questions so your child makes the discovery.
- Ezra reminds children never to share personal details, and to talk with a trusted grown-up about big feelings.
🎨
8. Share artwork and stories
- Tap “Share” (only visible once you've turned sharing on).
- Choose Artwork, a story or a favorite moment. Snap a photo of a drawing or type a few words.
- Tap “Send for approval”.
Nothing is public right away. You approve it first in the Parent area, then our moderator reviews it before it appears on the Treasure Feed.
✅
9. Approve your child's posts
- Visit the Parent area to see anything waiting for you.
- Tap Approve to send it on to the moderator, or Reject to keep it private.
🚩
10. Stay safe together
- The Treasure Feed only shows posts approved by a parent and a moderator.
- There are no private messages between children and no rankings.
- If anything ever looks wrong, tap 🚩 Report on the post and a moderator will look at it.
